Kids “Make Your Summer Of Fun” Activities In Pittsfield

Summer is here and that means after a week of summer vacation kids start saying they are bored.

One of the best ways to keep your kids out of trouble and keep them occupied this summer is to have them participate in structured activities. Remember, as a kid, you made these pot holders on your own little loom. Handicrafts are always fun!

Here’s something for the kids from June 29th.
The Pittsfield City Recreation Program, Department of Community Development, will be running Make Your Own Summer of Fun activities in various city parks through August 26th.

Make Your Own Summer of Fun offers Pittsfield children a variety of fun activities no costs. Come by, say hello, get supplies for fun summer activities, and / or join in if a special activity is planned.

Summer activities begin Tuesday June 29th in Common with Make Your Own Book / Journal from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

On Thursday July 1st, you will be drawing / painting your own masterpiece at Durant
Park from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The program runs for nine weeks and alternates between several parks.

An adult companion is recommended when a participant is collecting supplies or participating in a special activity.
