Today, June 15th, the Man Walk Goulburn started the Mens Health Week with our regular Tuesday morning walk at 6 a.m. with around 15 men and a few dogs to support the walk-talk. As part of Men’s Health Week, we enjoyed breakfast after the walk in Trappers Bakery thanks to David Albrighton from Goulburn Country Motors. The International Men’s Health Week runs from June 14th to 20th. It’s an important week as we know that in most countries, including Australia, the health of men is generally worse than that of women. Men visit the general practitioner less often and we know that men tend to think, “I’ll be right” and not see a doctor until it is often too late.
