The South University The Agricultural Research and Extension Center is one of 1,890 Centers of Excellence Scholarship recipients funded by the US Department of Agriculture’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture (USDA / NIFA). The 1890 Universities Foundation mobilizes and manages resources to enable broad-based programs, initiatives, and approaches throughout the 1890 university system.
LLENA (AI) is managed under the direct direction of Dr. Fatemeh Malekian, Professor of Food Science, Project Leader and Director of the Southern Institute for Food, Nutrition and Wellness at the SU Ag Center.
